Reminder: Moving Poll Closes Tomorrow
« on: June 12, 2014, 10:17:46 PM »
Hello, all! If you haven't already, please stop by our moving poll and let us know what you think about moving to a new space.  I'll be closing the poll tomorrow and I want to make sure you all get your say in.

Cheers!

Looks like I don't have access to the poll, but if it fails everyone should take a crack at reimagining how to utilize the space of the current place. Stations are all over the place, and some additional square footage could probably be redeemed from rearranging the shelving and larger stations.

Unfortunately not, still going through the steps. I'll be at the next member meeting with paperwork in hand!

If its bigger, closer, and cheaper, sounds good.  But, I don't see any documents explaining where and why there is a proposed move? Please detail the motion! Thanks -Jim

Details are in the RFC Forum in the Members Only section, but the tl;dr is that its the same building but +2,000sqft. There are caveats though, including we'll need to build out the drop ceiling area to better AC, etc.

Please note, this forum is heavily moderated and your comments won't show up until a moderator approves them (cause announcements, yo).

I actually fell asleep at the computer last night, so sorry I didn't post results.

Results are 29-7-10, move-don't move-don't care, as below:

Tragically sorry to report, it's further from UCF. Significantly so. There's a good 'nother 200 - 300 feet you'll be traversing to get to the lab, once we move. Sorry for the inconvenience!
