The library participates in Teen Tech Week each March, and they've asked if we'd like to fill a display case in the teen area with things made by FamiLAB members, or made at FamiLAB, or things we find interesting.

I need your ideas on what to put in the case.  The items will be there from setup until the end of March IIRC. There is no power in the case. Anyone have some solar panels that will work nicely off fluorescent lights? :)

I'd also love a volunteer to work with members to collect items and to work with the library on the setup of the display case.

Ideas (please post more!):

Tennis for Two (take a picture of the lit display, place over the display?)

Lots of 3d Printed items (anyone have a 3D printer they want to place in the display case for a month?)

Lots of laser-cut acrylic / wood items

Soldering items like a Simon kit, minty boost, Maker Faire robot

an Arduino and things made with arduino: ex. Adam's Helmet with LEDs (wish i could power it!)

a Raspberry Pi

I have few things that I make with laser cut wood that I'll donate. Next time I drop into the lab I'll leave a few there.

Depending on the timeframe of the exhibit I could possibly loan out my ultimaker for a month. I will be out of the country on business for three weeks starting at the end of this month so I won't have much use for the printer while I'm gone :) Even if I can't loan the printer I would be happy to print out some interesting objects to display.

Maybe framed copies of FamiLAB propoganda? I have an extra copy of the Sentinel article, just needs to be preserved and dropped in a frame. History center thing would be good too. Definitely suggest QR coded labels for everything we put in. That'd be neat.

Can we put Lance in the case? Or just his hand? :p
