« on: December 30, 2013, 09:30:31 PM »
I have a business idea that I need to discuss with a Software & Web Developer to see what options are possible.  If anyone is interested please call me at 407-928-8722.  Thanks Tanya

A Software Developer is not the same as  Web developer

Software Developer is a person who developers Thick Based Client Applications.  ( and this is split between 3 tiers, (or more ) , Windows, Apple, *Nix , This is why Java Dev's get paid more, as it works on all platforms )

Web developer is a person who developers applications based for Internet Browsers
Then you have Andriod & Iphone app developers.

Then you have Database Developers... which work with all of the ones above to make sure the database design is good. ( most non-dba can't develop a dba for crap )
This can also be split up, between Microsoft SQL DBA, or Oracle DBA.. Again, Oracle DBA commanding more $$ as oracle runs on more platforms.

Yes, it gets confusing

You really want to talk with an Application Architect.

But if its a REALLY cool idea, you want to talk to a lawyer first to secure your idea, so someone else doesn't steel it.

If it runs on electricity, i have it :)

and to add to this, none of these developers get along with each other...
