2012 - Hacker / Maker Travel
« on: May 10, 2012, 10:27:03 AM »
I've been so busy with OMMF that I haven't planned any hacker / maker travel for 2012...

Dave and I have talked about Maker Faire Detroit, and I've been thinking about DefCon (still not sure I can hang...) - and the dates overlap :(

What else is going on for options? Anyone have any cool plans?

Well, I'm going to Bay Area... Everyone else backed out ;) I don't care much for Detroit in general. I would like to go to World Maker Faire in NYC this September...

There's Open Source Hardware Summit in NY in September too. I'll probably be heading to DEFCON again. Crystal Method is playing, tons of great speakers -- can't miss it.

Might be cool to take a day trip to the GWiz TechShop and other Florida hackerspaces.
