I can't teach but I would love to sit in on your session if you can find an instructor. I am also interested in creating video of such lessons from which we can ultimately splice together a functional training product.

Not too late for me. I am out of town until about then. I, for one, really appreciate it.

Ron found Instructions in the log book. So he ran it but it went nuts....

I've got plans Sunday (mothers day). So maybe sometime next week? (Wed or Thur)

I am still in and am willing to video and edit it to share with others if that is desirable.

I guess I am going to host my first class on 3d printing after the meeting on tuesday I get out of work at 7 and should be there no later than 8. So anyone that wants to know how to use the 3d printers make sure to stay after.

Things that I want to acomplish for this class
    1. Be able to download a file from thingiverse
    2. Slice that thing with software
    3. Settings in printer software. What to do and what not
    4. Pre flight checks on the printer itself, before printing
    5. Printing your thing

Things I will cover if I have time
    1. Makeing a thing
    2. Software to make things
    3. Types of filament.
    4. Building a printer
    5. Maintinence of the printer
    6.

I guess if there is anything I missed add it to this thread.

Thanks JD! I'll be sure to attend as well.. Wait, are non-members allowed at the meeting on Tuesday? I know the calendar shows it as members-only but I've heard the opposite from others...

It was awesome! I know it sounds dumb, but I've avoided 3d printing because my only experiences were with ReplicatorG, and despite you and Tony insisting that Repetierhost is much easier, I was certain it was not. The document is great for me!

Can I get access to the google doc? I'd love to help with formatting and editing. ( tetsuharu@gmail.com )
