Is there a high temperature kiln?
« on: August 14, 2016, 05:54:48 PM »
I've been working on making some components for a super-capacitor from scratch, and one of the components needs to be heat treated at above 400 degrees centigrade. I was wondering if the lab has anything that could be used for that purpose? Thanks.

Someone on Slack replied (we get all public posts auto-posted to the chatroom) and said that we do have a kiln. I'm not certain what temp it gets to but I think it'd do the trick.

Thanks. I want to do pyrolyis in it, so as long as it can get that hot then I'll probably be fine, although I'd like to know if I could run it for several hours on end for the sake of consistency.
