Local acrylic suppliers
« on: December 06, 2012, 07:13:44 AM »
I called Laird plastics  about some transparent green acrylic, and while the price (80$) was reasonable the shipping to get it to orlando was 90$. This is for a full 4x8 foot sheet. Anyone know of a local place where I can get this?

You might try giving SABIC polymershapes a call. Not sure what they can offer.

Found another place. Farco Plastics has good prices but limited stock items and no scraps. For an additional 20$ you can get the sheet cut to whatever you need.

Skycraft has scraps.  Also, Alice at House of Plastics did me well for some custom-cut acrylic a month ago.
