I will be coming to the open house night on the 3rd as I want to get involved with Familab on a regular basis. I have a project I am spending a lot (prob. too much) time on right now that I would like to get some feedback on. I find, when working with students at Stetson's makerspace, that they really need a project to be given to them to get started. So I am developing a simple and cheap little robot that teaches soldering, fabrication, and programming. I would like to get this to the point of running a series of kits. Until at least Makercon in Tampa I am working on prototypes and looking for input and collaborators. Some of the details of of the project are online at robot50.org. I'll bring a prototype Tuesday night (hopefully I wont ruin it before then
) and I would love to talk to people about it.
