I am continually amazed at the way artists are using technology to express themselves.  The link above shows many.  The "Tag bot" is a good example of STEM art.  The link above has one called "drawing machine".  The project my team made for the Red Bull competition falls into this category.  And I'd like to see more of this.  The light strip in the Future Room would be in this category. 


Hmmm.. maybe we could use a Special Interest Section in the forum -- Stem art.

Kind of OT- what really makes me excited is that the idea of STEAM (STEM + art) is making its way back into education, at least on the college level, if not lower. Teach them early that tech and the arts go well together and who KNOWS what we'll get. :)   I know that, at least at my undergrad alma mater, they're creating a separate STEAM major/area of study, for all of us who overlapped. I'm interested to see where it goes.
