what needs to be done around the lab??
« on: July 19, 2012, 01:36:40 PM »
I am not yet a member of familab but i would like to become one. Only problem is $50 a month is steep! So i am offering my skills to help offset the price.

I am good with tools and have a lot of experience working with my father as a contractor. I dont know code but i can wire outlets and switches and have a descent understanding of electrical theory. I can build workbenches or walls or paint. I know how to patch holes in drywall and sand them smooth. I could probably do just about anything that is needed.

So, if there is work needed in the lab, let me know, and i will gladly trade my free time for a membership!

Also, i have lots of experience soldering, and i can do moderately complex code for arduino. I can design pcbs and make nice wiring harnesses. Perhaps i could help with some of tge classes as well as offering labor.
