Any suggestions (lessons/tutors/ideas)?
Note: To improve mood, administer chocolate.

I've found I learn best under direct supervision, so taking this into account.

If you need something technical translated quick and nasty I can help with that.

What worked with most of my friends were language tapes for a couple of years then another 3-4 years immersion in a Chinese speaking community. You can probably do it here in the US, it is afterall the 3rd most spoken language here in the USA.
