Why Ebay SUCKS
« on: December 31, 2013, 10:11:56 PM »
So, i picked up a Sword & Axe @ Minecon, was going to give to someone, but their parents said they were bad this year, so decided to sell on ebay....

I sell it, same day i sell it, they send me messages wanting tracking #, and going to file a claim with ebay if not there by christmas...

Ship it out, soon as he gets it, files a claim, fake item, wants money back...

I provide pictures of items, tell him not fake, give to grandkid yada yada

Provides fake tracking # to Ebay ( which by the way, wasn't not picked up from his address, or delivered to my address )

And then escalates it saying i won't refund his money...

Really? Great way to end my year :(

Wow that's aweful man... Some people just suck. At least you got the money. I did an estate sale for my dad once through ebay. Worst. experience. ever.

I sold over 100 items (furniture, pool table, tv, etc) and required buyers pick it up and pay in cash. I figured since it was completed/bid items on ebay, it was a done deal and there would be no confusion about the price. Unfortunately EVERYONE that came by assumed they could haggle over the price since they were paying cash...

i got no money, they took it away from me..

so, initial purchase $40 + shipping $12 + eBay fees $12 = $64 - what he returned = $24 so, i am out $24 bucks...
