FamiLAB table at Tampa Bay Mini Maker Faire is March 31st
« on: March 20, 2012, 04:04:00 PM »
Who besides me is going? I'm going to try really hard to show up with a working printrbot and a working zen cnc.

Does anyone with a vinyl printer/cutter want to make up a banner for the table?

I'm going, but due to surrounding work travel, I'm there to spectate and to give you a break when you want to go spectate (in other words, not bringing anything that requires prep...)

Sadly, Zane scheduled his one of his game dev days on that saturday, so I'll have to let him down easy  :P , because I'm going to my first maker faire!

I know there's not much time to prepare, but I am about ready to make a kinect-controlled something or other. I have OpenFrameworks set up to control servos and steppers through an arduino by hand-tracking points or skeleton tracking.

If anyone has one of those biped robots ready for hacking, maybe we could collab?  :)

I'd like to hitch a ride once I know if I'm able to free the schedule that day.  How much is entry?

I'm heading over Friday night so I can start setting up at 8am on Saturday.

I have a vinyl cutter, the printer is out of commission at the moment. If we want, we can get supplies from Fellers within a few hours, they'll prolly have vinyl but not sure about the banner material. If you want we can get together about this and figure out what to get.
