MineCon at FamiLAB
« on: November 04, 2013, 08:04:55 AM »
Who's up for bringing what they exhibited at MineCon's 'Makers Village' to Open House this Tuesday?

This could be really neat and we could promote it "Didn't get to MineCon... Come to FamiLAB's Open House", but we'd have to add it to eventbrite fast.

I'll be bringing my StarBots for sure.
Cope had the awesome pumpkins, I think he's in.
Ted lit the pumpkins.
Mac has to work.
Matt, could print more Minecraft goodies?
We must still have some papercraft left.
We have the MineCon 'Makers Village' Columns
Bill had the awesome arcade game, but he's far away.

I don't want to make any more work for the awesome folks that put 'Makers Village' together, but if those that exhibited at the show would want to do this, please chime in.

We can definitely print more goodies, and I intended to, since I told a few people if they stopped by the lab I'd have some for them :)

Well, the arcade is actually @ Mick's ( Plant City / Exit 17 off I4 ) so its only 1 hr from the OCCC.

If you guys want it, and can make sure it doesn't get damaged , your more then welcome to grab it , just need to return it..

Also, will be @ Southern Pinball Festival.

on a side note....

I am also working on trying to maybe setup a small "Maker Village" at next years Arcade/Pinball/Console Show ( it will be in Nov, 2014 ).. Would love for some Pinball/Arcade Themed Maker stuff, and even some Minecraft stuff ( as things for the Kids would be great ! )

If it runs on electricity, i have it :)

I've been meaning to build a marble machine or two, this may be a good excuse
I like colors.
