Plans for DIY 3D Metal Printer: Mini Metal Maker
« on: July 22, 2015, 12:55:13 PM »
Hello! I am contacting your makerspace to share one download of my metal clay 3d printer, the Mini Metal Maker DIY. I am selling downloads on my website, but would like to give one copy to your makerspace in the spirit of creation-sharing.

The completed printer extrudes material from a syringe, and the material can be metal clay, which becomes solid metal when fired in a kiln. I believe it is a wonderful tool for jewelers, artisans and engineers who wish to 3d print with metal at a fraction of the cost.

The download includes instructions and the 3D build files for the parts needed to print. Feel free to create one for your makerspace or to share with an interested maker in your community. If you wish to build more than one, please consider downloading via my website and contributing toward my ongoing project at
