Hello, all -
Kennedy Space Center has now opened applications for its Pathways Internship Program (formerly known as the co-op program); there are 29 opportunities covering majors including Computer Engineering, ChemE, AeroE, Physics, Criminal Justice, Business, Finance, Education, and more. These are announced in 9 listings on USAJobs.
This is not your normal internship - Pathways Internships are recurring; the student alternates school terms with work terms and after graduation has the opportunity to be hired on as a full-time civil servant with NASA. (This is how I got hired.) While a Pathways Intern, you are a civil servant and have the pay and benefits afforded to other civil servants of your pay grade/level.
This is a quick turnaround!! The application deadline is 11:59pm EST on Monday, July 21, 2014. These positions are planned to start on January 12, 2015. For more information about the KSC Pathways Program please feel free to visit our website at http://pathways.ksc.nasa.gov
I am open to questions, but do not officially speak for my employer in this regard. I'm just another rocket scientist, trying to drag you all in.
