Need a Viral Video for my Swim Fins
« on: September 19, 2013, 09:36:56 AM »
I am heading toward a Kickstarter for the MaxAir swim fins.  This will involve underwater shooting with GoPro cameras, most likely in the Keys.  I need pretty much the whole package, Certified Divers, vidiographers, storyline, video editing, stock footage, etc.

The idea is to create a 45 second teaser video to drive folks to a kickstarter.  Looking for something edgy, controversial, tongue-in-cheek, which clearly shows the MaxAir as a faster fin.  I will sponsor a weekend dive trip to the keys all expenses paid for a group of up to 3 people if we can get a good video out of it.

Of course this would be after Maker Faire.  Any takers?

i have a gopro and a really nice nikon, but i am not a director. but i love to swim and wouldnt mind helping with the editing. if you need a body and some electronics i am your man. i just need a couple weeks notice for work, that is the hardest part for me.

but i will still let you use my equipment if you need it.

i would love to help you get this cool product to market.

thanks
Jd

Thank You.
I have 2 gopros myself.  The key thing is having the housing specifically for underwater.  That is the one with the flat lens.  The Nikon is great but it would need a housing which runs from $300 to $1000.  Always in need of editing skills and storyline ideas.

Yah the Nikon is for the above water stuff. And I have the waterproof case for the gopro.

The Nikon takes amazing video. It is the d300s. And I have some good glass for it too.
