Web Developers or Web Application Job Seekers
« on: February 13, 2013, 01:14:51 PM »
Just a heads up to all of those who may be looking for work.  At Valencia College we need two Web Portal Developers in the web services department.  Below is a condensed list of the job qualifications.  If you don't have all these skills I still urge you to apply as they hire people whom are willing to learn the technologies to get the job done.  As some of you know, I work there in the IT department and it's a very autonomous environment.   There's some politics, which is no different than any other corporate environment.  The only caveat is the dress code is business casual.  Other than that, it's a great learning experience.  Many of our developers have accelerated their careers after a couple of years.  Here's the shortlist of descriptions.  Apply at https://jobs.valenciacollege.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/position/JobDetails_css.jsp?postingId=145364.  Email me at rortega1@valenciacollege.edu if you have any questions.
