Hi all,

I'm going to convert my lathe to CNC, and already have brackets, etc.  FWIW, it will use the same CNC controller as my mill.  My only apprehension is turning the ballscrews, and more specifically -- getting it perfectly aligned down the centerline.  Anyone have any experience with this, and perhaps willing to lend a hand?

Cheers,
-Neil.

I know we have _interest_ in this kind of thing @ the lab.  We have a little mill which we'd love if it were CNC, but doesn't seem financially feasible to convert it.  I'd really love to not only CNC the thing but add a 4th axis as well.
