making dxf for laser cut pattern, need guide
« on: September 07, 2014, 01:43:25 PM »
hi, i'm working toward my first laser cut (will recruit help for first cut while awaiting checkout of laser cutter).  Just want to make simple acrylic cutout w/ mounting holes for RPi and it's attached camera and attach points for other structures.  This is first open-hardware part for my planned telepresent-entity (right now known as "zomBotUndead") that will use as much off-the-shelf as possible.

I'm working with librecad (which is also learning curve).  During visits to our group sessions I've gathered that the cutting pattern is separated from other non-cut drawing info by color but that's all I know.  Is there a howto guidelines for making the artwork/dxf anywhere on our sharepoint?
