All,

Radio Shack Project 005: DIY Garage Parking Assistant uses a Propeller QuickStart Microcontroller board (276-121).

Anyone up to speed on using the Parallex propeller stuff?

The Nut and Volts magazine seems to have quite a few acticles using these microcontrollers.   8)

regards,

David

A bunch of us attended the class Jessica gave at the lab, so we're all vaguely familiar and have the quickstart board. I did a few things with it, but ultimately gave up for lack of time and energy. I want to check it out again, though. If you need to borrow a board, just ask around. There's plenty to go around. :)

The IDE itself is very easy to use, certainly as easy as Arduino.  SPIN is... interesting.
