a single wooden pallet

I need just one of these for a project:

as long as it isn't too mangled and real cheap.

Brand new ones can be had for <$10, or the place just across the field from the lab often has scrap pallets and stuff for free. Even has a sign that says "free" in front of them. Lots of other places will just give them to you if you ask nicely.

Our neighbor at the lab has a huge dumpster out front right now that appears to have some pallets in it. Worth checking out?
