AVR 6-pin programmer
« on: March 25, 2012, 01:31:44 PM »
Dad fail - I ordered my 12 year old the 3pi robot for his birthday and didn't realize it needed a 6pin AVR programmer - and I don't have one. I need one in a hurry, anyone have one I can borrow / replace?

If you have a spare arduino, can't you use the Arduino as an in socket programmer?  I think all you need to do is map the pinouts to the breakout on the board.

Not sure if it's the same thing but I have a pony-prog if that will help.

I have an Adafruit ISP programmer (6-pin) and it works with "avrdude" as I recall.
