Led Matrix Pendant

Project: Led Matrix Pendant
I have had a couple people ask me to make a little pendant that is led and displays a little message/picture/animation, i originally found this project on adafruits web site but i wanted to make it a little custom. also this is how i learn i started with a project that is well documented to see if i can actually make it. then i modify until i have it the way i want it. The first couple i made i copied adafruit exactly, this is the first redesign that i have done.

Goals:
have something unique that has leds in it.
make it protected so it will not short or break
   learn new programming tricks
take lessons learned in design from the ben heck show ;)
make some cool displays for friends

Collaborators:

Jd - hardware, manufacturing

I liked the one I saw with the space invaders.

I am using the trinket. but the gamma would work as well. It is all based off the adafruit animated pendant. and also the bmo with animated face projects from adafruit.
