Intro: James Mathews
« on: May 19, 2014, 10:31:14 AM »
Hi!

I'm James Mathews, I live in Mims (North Brevard) Fl, and I have three daughters.  I am a service-disabled veteran (Go NAVY!), a former computer engineer for the Space Shuttle, and currently employed as a Software Integration Engineer contractor for the government.  My interests include almost anything in the realm of hardware, software and robotics.  For the last couple years I have served as the coach for a local elementary school's Lego Robotics team.  Current projects include neopixels (currently have 5m @ 60 led/m smd5050 w/ws2811 (aka ws2812), black fpb, IP68), arduino (currently own a mega), robotics (numerous small to mid range robots), and embedded computers.  I have attended the last couple open houses and been very impressed with the quality of the membership.

I forgot to mention that I am starting exploring the world of CNC / 3d modeling.  Currently learning solidworks.

I plan on coming up to the Lab after work today ~1800, looking for assistance with NeoPixels on Arduino Mega.  David/Pokey says he'll be available ~2030.  Look forward to seeing ya'll!
