« on: March 10, 2016, 03:23:31 PM »
I am planning a I/O Extended event May 18-20, (more or less a viewing party). We need to decide the schedule, if we are doing food, code labs, hackathon, swag? Thoughts? anyone wanna help?

As it's the middle of the week, it would be difficult for me, but I can try to work something out?

Hi Joseph,

You can checkout the schedule at https://events.google.com/io2016/schedule?filters=Live%20streamed#day1

I plan on deciding which streams to watch as the come up, be we have enough rooms to watch them all if we want.

As far as workshops, I haven?t planned anything yet.

I can help! :D Assuming by help you mean coming to lab to help set up. I probably know zero things about the actual I/O event...  ???

Hey Cualer, thanks, I will probably goto Costco for food the first day, and maybe pizza on another day. I expect most of the work to be straighten up, setup food, double check that internet and streams are all setup.

This year the events seem to be centered around android and firebase (database). Unfortunately I develop for neither of these. Anyone here have experience? Any ideas on what we can do to spruce up I/O and do more than watch TV?
