Post your RP projects here...
« on: February 28, 2013, 02:02:20 PM »

Announced today, on the anniversary of the RP being shipped.

A new site endorsed by the Raspberry Pi foundation for sharing projects is called Pideas:

http://pideas.co.uk/index.php

Besides posting about your RP projects here at FamiLAB, it would be helpful to the world if you also post on Pideas. Also, mention FamiLAB in your texts and imagery if you can when you post. The bots are always watching! and most of the bots can be used for good.

knkp, this is really a good start. It's cool that you share your stuff! What have you done with it since this post?  Also I asked about hardware on the youtube comments?. You can answer here but also put the info on both sites to help people. I added this to my curated Raspberry Pi video channel as well.

Wow thanks! I've been working on adding a web cam so that I can view my room remotely while affecting differently lights and what not - that hasn't worked yet, I've been trying to use vlc, motion, and next I'm going to try to write another python script using simplecv and if THAT doesn't work then I'll ask for help.

Future plans will include adding sound output for the pie with an old sound system that I'm going to fix up for this purpose and make it so that my pi starts playing music and some animations on the TV when its time to get me up and so much more. Also making it so that I can just text the pi and it will do stuff.

Basically, I want jarvis in my room and I want to build him from the ground up lol.
